“Education must have top priority” - Hendrik Wüst at the Stifterverband 2025 partner party
Minister President Hendrik Wüst opened the Stifterverband's partner festival at the EUREF-Campus Düsseldorf with these clear words. In his keynote speech, he made it clear how central education is to the future viability of our society - and reminded us emphatically: “All children are our children”, regardless of their origin, circumstances or social background.
Exciting discussions and inspiring perspectives followed in the further course of the event:
- An exchange with Wolfgang Wendt (Chairman of the Management Board, IBM Deutschland GmbH) on quantum skills as a future competence
- A discussion with Gina Vargiu-Breuer (Chief People Officer and Labor Director, Executive Board Member SAP) on skill-based organizational forms of the future
- And an open dialog about the necessary interlinking of school and business - with a focus on more practical teaching formats
The evening before, guests at Linnep Castle had the opportunity to gain new perspectives on current political events at an impressive book presentation and reading by Stephan Lamby.
