Since its founding, Gebrüder Schwanke has possessed deep-rooted expertise in the European Economic Area. In this core market, we focus on traditional executive search and have successfully filled key positions in more than ten European countries. Our scope ranges from highly specialized sales managers and experienced plant managers to managing directors for local subsidiaries who meet the specific requirements of the respective country. Another key pillar of our international operations is the Chinese market. In China, we support our clients in particular with the strategic establishment of local structures and comprehensive organizational development (Link: Organizational Development). We assist companies in establishing stable and efficient organizational units within this highly dynamic environment. This includes analyzing existing local structures as well as designing interface positions that serve as a link between headquarters and the Chinese subsidiary. Our goal is to create sustainable structures and attract the right leaders who understand both Western corporate culture and local market mechanisms and can operate confidently within a matrix organization.

Understanding an organization, grasping its complexity, and familiarizing oneself with its corporate culture are fundamental tasks for HR consultants.
In addition to our operations in Europe and Asia, Gebrüder Schwanke has been active in the United States since 2013. Since 2015, we have maintained our own branch office there in San Francisco, which is headed by our consultant Steven B. Fashipe.
This location enables us to provide direct support to German companies as they expand into the U.S., which represents a decisive strategic advantage given the enormous volume of trade between the two nations. In North America, we fill positions ranging from branch managers to CEOs, as illustrated by our detailed case study on filling an executive leadership role in North America (Link: Case Study). Thanks to our proximity to Silicon Valley, we also maintain particularly valuable contacts in the fields of e-mobility and digital transformation.
